DMA Little Dragons (3 - 6 year olds)

DM Dragons (3-6 Year Olds)

Our programme for young children uses positive reinforcement, through the vehicle of martial arts to teach Eight Core Life Skills – Self-Confidence, Self-Discipline, Teamwork, Balance, Self-Control, Memory, Focus and Co-Ordination. It also helps the development of basic motor skills, self-confidence and patience. For example, most 3-6 year olds can find it difficult to stand still or concentrate, so an early part of the programme is designed to encourage the children to feel a real sense of achievement when accomplishing simple tasks such as listening to their teacher etc. this will build on their confidence massively (positive reinforcement), which will in turn, help them to practice better listening skills more often .

The course is based on teaching through games and role play, which allows a controlled release of energy in a fun (and safe) environment. We also have a particular focus on anti-bullying techniques that can help children cope with any challenges they may go on to face at school.
